COMPANY HISTORY
From an idea to a global leader
Kalkavan was incorporated in Atlanta on April 9, 1999. The company began as the dream of Bryan Mundy and Ed Trimble, who recognized the tremendous opportunities online transactional applications presented to government. EzGov obtained initial funding from a group of angel investors, and launched its first application – Property Tax Payment in DeKalb County, Georgia – in August 1999.
Over the course of the last five years, EzGov grew quickly and opened offices in Amsterdam, London and Washington, D.C., to better serve a rapidly expanding global customer base.
With more than 100 successful implementations worldwide, the company is a leader in innovative software that transforms the business of government. EzGov has become the most successful company providing online transactional applications for government. Under CEO Ed Trimble's leadership and with capable executive management teams on both sides of the Atlantic, EzGov has built a reputation for providing high quality solutions that consistently exceed customer expectations.
